Welcome to Stag Hill! We're Alana & Dom. When Alana discovered that her ancestors had been in Jamberoo from the 1820s onwards, we visited the valley to see where they had lived. We fell in love with the emerald hills populated with friendly folk only 1.5 hours from Sydney. Inspired to grow our own food and live a low-waste, natural lifestyle, we purchased this very special property "Mittajooloo" as our hobby farm in 2015 (meaning "A Special Place" and so named by the previous owners in honour of the Mutitjulu waterhole and community in Uluru).
We began earnestly planting fruit trees and vegetables, repairing fences and adopting goats from the RSPCA for cheese and yoghurt making. We added bee hives and heritage chooks and pretty soon we were busy hosting eager friends and family. In 2017 we began offering yoga classes and we look forward to welcoming you here soon!

We recognise the continuous and deep connection to Country, of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the first peoples of this nation. In this way we respectfully acknowledge the Wodi Wodi people of the Dharawal nation, the traditional custodians of this land, sea and sky. We pay tribute to Elders past, present and emerging and we support Reconciliation to heal our nation so that we can stand proud as sharers and carers of the Country we are all honoured to call home. It is a privilege to be living and teaching on Country and we hope that our work here supports true custodianship of this land.
